Note from the coordinator
Make your documents your own.
Below are tips on creating support documents:
If you are applying for the workshop 'Writing a Treatment,' you will need to submit a
300-350 word synopsis (Write a short story.)
If you are applying for the workshop 'Writing a First Draft,' you will need to submit a
15-20 page treatment (Write a scene-by-scene in brief paragraph form). If you indeed have a feature, this should not be difficult to do.
NB: If you apply with a feature idea, you will be considered for both workshops automatically based on your previous training/experience.
If you are applying for the workshop 'Writing for the Small Screen,' you will need to submit a
300-350 word treatment (In paragraph form, write about the story, tone, setting, characters, ideas for episodes and possibilities of multi-platforms. You are making points and will develop the idea at Bootcamp.)
If you have applied in th past but were not successful, we will waive the $35 application fee; however, if you have already attended Bootcamp, you must pay the fee. Our intention is to encourage people to reapply with less risk.
If you still have questions, please get in touch.
Good luck!
