Only residents of the four Atlantic provinces are eligible for this competition.

 Emerging writers are people who have basic knowledge of writing and formatting a screenplay and want to have their work produced.  You can achieve this by reading books on the subject or participating in workshops.

 Mid-career writers are people who have had some work produced but need to learn more about pitching in the industry.
